DIETARY POLICY

  • Food and flowers from outside are not permitted in the hospital.  These are sources of spreading infection, and hence, strictly prohibited in the hospital.

  • To fulfill the special dietary needs of cancer patients at the hospital and give them the strength and energy to fight cancer, the doctors and dieticians prescribe customized diets to suit the individual needs of each patient. The food is provided by the dietary kitchen seven times in a day as follows:

6:00AM - 6:30 AM: Tea/ Coffee

7:30AM - 8:30 AM: Breakfast

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Snacks

12:30 PM  – 1:30 PM: Lunch

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Snacks with Tea/Coffee

7:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Dinner

9:30 PM - 10:30 PM: Milk

  • Tariff for the dietary food: General ward: 350 per day, Semi Special ward: 400 per day, Deluxe ward: 500 per day

  • The food will be provided free-of-cost to the general ward patients only

  • Please note that this dietary food is specifically for the patients to help them recover from their illness and not for their attendants or visitors

  • After the patients have finished their food, the patients’ families are requested to return the utensils and boxes in which the food is served. They are not to be taken home. Patients are liable to pay for any missing cutlery or boxes.
